Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas
Publisher: Bloomsbury
Goodreads Summary: Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy.

While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love?

Review:  Amazing. Beautiful. Stunning. Intoxicating. Breathtaking. Heir of Fire cannot be described by one word- it is just too good.In the sequel to Crown of Midnight, Celaena faces more challenges than ever, has to control herself, and learns lots and starts to become the queen she was destined to be. She travels to Maeve's territory in Wendlyn and has to prove herself to get to Doranelle were the queen is waiting with information. Meanwhile Dorian is beginning to master his Magic, and becoming the King he is destined to be. Chaol is plotting with the rebels, after bargaining with his father for more time to appoint a new Captain of the Guard.

Sarah J. Maas uses everything in her favor, and creates a beautifully twisted tale of destiny, love, friendship and wisdom. Once you start reading you won't be able to stop.
